2024 TE/DE Marshall Christus: Huntington HS (WV)

Huntington High School's Marshall Christus, a 6'4" 180 lbs talent, is making waves in the high school football scene. As a Class of 2024 player, Christus has already left his mark as a TE/DE for his team. In a recent interview, he shared some insights into his journey.

When asked about his best moments, Christus proudly exclaimed, "Starting TE on the AAA state championship winning team." His dedication and hard work clearly paid off, contributing to his team's triumphant season.

One of Christus's key strengths on the field, as he puts it, is his "ability to get open and catch the ball over defenders." This knack for making critical plays has undoubtedly caught the attention of colleges scouting for talent.

In the realm of college football, Christus revealed that Anderson Broaddus had offered him a scholarship, although he noted that the school has since closed down. Nevertheless, Bethany College has shown interest, keeping his college football dreams alive.

When reflecting on his development as a football player, Christus credited Coach Billy Seals and CJ Crawford for their significant impact. "Coach Crawford has showed me almost everything I know about the receiver and tight end positions," he acknowledged. Their guidance has molded him into the athlete he is today.

Beyond football, Marshall Christus remains open to life's possibilities, stating, "Not sure yet" about his aspirations. With his determination and talent, he undoubtedly has a bright future ahead, both on and off the field.
