Dashaun Morris II is already becoming a nationally known recruit long before his first official snap of high school football. The 2030 safety, an Under Armour All-American, is gearing up for his freshman season at powerhouse Grayson High School in Georgia. Listed at 5’8, 147 pounds, Morris may be young, but his mindset, discipline, and maturity separate him from most players his age.

Morris’ love for football began early, and it was rooted in family. “At 6 years old, my dad and his story sparked my love for the game,” he said. That foundation has carried him through years of development, with his competitive edge driving him daily. “The results on the field and off the field motivate me to get better because I really don’t like to lose.”

Training has remained consistent throughout his journey. “On the regular it’s always me and my dad ever since I was 6,” Morris shared. He also sharpens his defensive skills through DB training with Coach Josh Jones, but credits his father for setting the standard. “Mainly my dad just always speaks about consistency. I been doing this so long it’s all I really know to be honest.”

This offseason carries added importance as Morris prepares to transition into high school football. His goals are clear and ambitious. “My first goal is I want to put on more weight, that’s my number one goal,” he said. Beyond physical development, he’s aiming to earn early opportunities. “I want to prove to my coaches at Grayson that I can get reps during spring ball… as an 8th grader it’s not something that happens often at Grayson.”

Despite competing on a national stage at the Under Armour All-America Game, Morris remains grounded when it comes to recruiting. “I honestly don’t care about that right now. I haven’t even proven nothing at the high school level,” he explained. For him, attention will come later. “Once I get varsity reps and prove something, that’s when I expect to get some attention.”

Off the field, Morris is just as impactful as he is between the lines. He enjoys “listening to music and playing the game,” but his biggest passion may be giving back. At just 11 years old, he launched his own nonprofit called “4 Seasonz.” He explained, “Every season—fall, winter, spring, summer—I go into the community and do giveaways to less fortunate.”

Morris organizes clothing, food, toiletries, and monetary donations, working with others to support those in need. “I have these events documented too. I get people I know to donate…and I go give it out,” he said. That combination of humility, discipline, and purpose paints a clear picture of who Dashaun Morris II is becoming.

As he prepares for his freshman year at Grayson, one thing is clear: Dashaun Morris II is focused on growth, consistency, and earning everything that comes next—on the field and in the community.
