In the heart of Texas, at Walnut Grove High School, meet Ashton Gosselin, a dynamic quarterback standing at 5’11” and weighing in at 210lbs. Despite his stature, Gosselin's talent and dedication are propelling him to the forefront of the sport.

"I started playing football when I was 5 years old," Gosselin reveals, "my dad really sparked me playing because he was teaching me how to throw a football since I was born." From those early backyard tosses to the bright lights of Friday night games, Gosselin's passion for the game has only intensified.

Behind every great athlete, there are mentors who shape their journey. For Gosselin, it's been a team effort. "Stoney Case and my dad were a big part in my mechanics and learning football," he acknowledges. Additionally, Ronnie Braxton has played a pivotal role in enhancing Gosselin's speed, agility, and overall performance on the field.

As the spotlight on Gosselin grows brighter, so does the attention from college recruiters. "It started around the summer of 8th grade year when I went to Alabama and they were showing interest," he explains. With an offer from UNLV and interest from the University of Buffalo, Gosselin's future in collegiate football looks promising.

This offseason, Gosselin has been relentless in his pursuit of greatness. "I have been running 4 miles a day and have been training 6 times a week," he shares. His focus on speed, agility, and training with NFL players has set him apart from his peers, ensuring that he's primed for success come game day.

Beyond the gridiron, Gosselin finds inspiration from his family and football icons like Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes. "My biggest role models are my parents," he emphasizes, "They have taught me everything about being a person and I can’t thank them enough." Their influence extends beyond the game, shaping him into the person he is today.

Outside of sports, Gosselin is a well-rounded individual. A straight-A student, he enjoys surfing at the lake, playing golf, and cherishing moments with his family. "Mostly I like to spend time with my family, however that is," he adds, showcasing his commitment to those closest to him.

Ashton Gosselin is not just a quarterback—he's a symbol of perseverance, dedication, and the power of chasing one's dreams. With his sights set on the future, Gosselin is poised to leave an indelible mark on the world of football, both on and off the field. Keep an eye on this rising star as he continues to shine brightly in the realm of sports.
