2027 4-Star linebacker Mikahi Allen continues to establish himself as one of the top defensive prospects in the nation. The 6’2, 227-pound standout from Don Bosco Prep (NJ) is an Under Armour All-American who also competes in basketball and track, showcasing his rare combination of size, athleticism, and versatility.

Allen’s love for football started at a young age and was driven by family and competition. “I really fell in love with it because of my dad, the competitiveness and the bond with my teammates,” he said. “I loved the challenge of getting better every day and being part of something bigger than myself.” He credits the game for shaping him early, adding that football taught him “discipline, toughness, teamwork and how to handle adversity.”

Daily work has been a key factor in his rapid development. “I train with my dad, my teammates, coaches, and trainers who constantly push me to be my best,” Allen explained. “Being around people who are motivated and focused has helped me improve mentally and physically.” That environment, he says, keeps him accountable and pushes him to raise his standards every day.

Reflecting on his 2025 season, Allen felt encouraged by his growth but knows there is more to reach. “My goals were to improve my performance, help my team win, and grow as a leader,” he said. “I feel like I made solid progress, but I know there’s still room to improve.” His focus for the 2026 offseason is clear: “getting stronger, faster, improving my football IQ, and preparing myself to have my best season yet.”

Recruiting has taken off in a major way for the New Jersey linebacker. “The recruiting process has been a blessing and a learning experience,” Allen shared. With 35 Division I offers already on the table, he remains grounded and appreciative of the attention. “Having coaches come to my school or home means a lot to me and my family, and it motivates me to keep working harder both on and off the field.”

Away from the spotlight, Allen prides himself on being more than just an athlete. “Outside of football, I’m a hard-working, focused person who values family, school, and my teammates,” he said. He enjoys spending time with friends, bowling, and staying active, while striving to improve himself in every area of life.
With elite physical tools, a strong support system, and a mature mindset, Mikahi Allen is positioning himself for a dominant senior season and an even brighter future. His commitment to growth on and off the field continues to separate him as one of the premier linebackers in the Class of 2027.
