At 6’4”, 190 pounds, Lake Mary High School wide receiver Brian Williams Jr. is quickly making a name for himself in the 2026 recruiting class. A three-star prospect out of Florida, Williams didn’t start playing football until eighth grade but always knew where he belonged.
“I first started playing football in the 8th grade at 13 years old,” Williams said. “I knew I’ve always wanted to be a football player, and who really inspired me was watching Julio Jones. I copy my game off him.”
Williams’ commitment to improvement is evident in his rigorous training schedule. “I train three times a day between in-school weights, track, and training outside of that,” he said. “I train with Kevin Wheeler—the best WR trainer in Florida—and I also go to Draft Academy.”
His recruitment is gaining momentum, and he’s keeping an open mind. “My recruitment is really picking up, and God willing, it will continue to rise,” Williams said. “As far as schools go, all schools are looking good to me right now.”
Off the field, Williams stays grounded in his faith and relationships. “Spending time with the Lord, family, and friends makes me who I am,” he said. When asked to describe himself in three words, he kept it simple: “God-fearing, focused, funny. I have a strong relationship with God, I’m extremely focused on my goals, and I know how to make a room light up.”
With his size, work ethic, and mindset, Williams is a name to watch as he continues his journey to the next level.
