Orlando, Florida - In the bustling world of high school football, one name is quickly rising to prominence: Kenyon Alston, a 6'2" 172lb wide receiver and defensive back hailing from Bishop Moore Catholic High School. With his remarkable skills and dedication, Alston has become a force to be reckoned with on the field. In a recent interview, he shared insights about his journey, inspirations, and aspirations.

Alston's football journey began in 3rd grade, ignited by the influence of his family. "My brother and my dad definitely inspired me to play," Alston recounted. He vividly remembers attending his brother's practices and emulating his every move, setting the foundation for his passion for the sport. "I want to follow in my dad’s footsteps in becoming a pro wide receiver," he added, showcasing his determination to excel.

Throughout his development, Alston's commitment to improvement has been unwavering. He attributes much of his progress to the guidance of Delacruz Sports Performance. "I've been training with Delacruz Sports Performance to help with my strength and flexibility," Alston explained. Notably, Alston has even ventured into defensive training, aiming to broaden his skill set. "I had a few college coaches talk to me about playing defense so I started training with Coach Lindsay (the best in Central Florida). I plan on playing some safety this season," he stated.

On the recruiting front, Alston's journey has been marked by promising opportunities. His recruitment took off with a visit to Florida State, the first college to express interest. "I’ve done several camps and gotten positive feedback," Alston shared. He continues to actively explore his options, with an upcoming camp at Ole Miss' Juice Fest.

Beyond the gridiron, Alston finds solace and leisure in a variety of activities. "Outside of football, I like to relax and swim in my pool and also make time for video gaming," he revealed. The young athlete values his personal life and friendships, often spending time at the beach with his companions.

Role models play a crucial role in shaping Alston's journey, both on and off the field. "Some role models are my father who has been with me every step of the way," he acknowledged gratefully. Alston's admiration extends to star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, citing similarities in their playing styles. "My favorite receiver is D Hop. I can compare his ability with having great hands, footwork, and high pointing the ball," Alston said, drawing inspiration from one of the NFL's best.

As Kenyon Alston continues to evolve as an athlete and an individual, his dedication to football and personal growth remains unshaken. With his family's support, professional aspirations, and strong work ethic, Alston is undoubtedly on track to achieve greatness both on and off the field. Watch out for this rising star as he continues to make waves in the world of football.
