Woodberry Forest School, a renowned institution in Virginia, is set to welcome a promising talent to their football program. Savion Hiter, a class of 2026 running back and outside linebacker, has recently announced his transfer to the school, creating a buzz in the sports community. Standing at 5'11" and weighing 190 pounds, Hiter brings an impressive skill set to the field, complemented by his GPA of 3.5.

Hiter's journey in high school football has been nothing short of remarkable. Despite being a freshman during the 2022-2023 season, he showcased his talent and earned a spot on the varsity team. This early start set the stage for his future success as he rapidly gained recognition for his exceptional performance.

Throughout his high school football career, Hiter has experienced numerous memorable moments and achievements. Making it to the playoffs in his freshman year was a standout achievement, but earning the title of Max Preps All-American was undoubtedly the most significant highlight. Coach Anthony Poole of the Fredericksburg Jackets helped lay the foundation during his youth, teaching him fundamental skills and acting as a mentor. Coach Will Patrick of Louisa County High School continued his development and prepared him for the challenges of varsity-level football.

Like any athlete, Hiter has faced challenges along his football journey. Navigating the attention that comes with recruitment and interviews has been a learning experience for him. However, by remaining humble and true to himself, he has overcome these hurdles and grown both as an individual and a player.

With his sophomore season approaching, Hiter has set ambitious goals for himself. He aims to continue honing his skills, preparing for the next level, and earning recognition as one of the best players in the country.
