At 6’3 and 230lbs, Tristan Greene, the versatile LB/TE from Riverbend High School in Fredericksburg, VA, is not just a force on the field but also a standout in the classroom with a remarkable 4.3 GPA. In an exclusive interview, Greene opened up about his journey, aspirations, and the dedication driving his success.

"I didn’t start playing football until my 8th grade year," Greene revealed, reflecting on his unconventional path into the sport. Despite a background in basketball, his passion for football ignited when given the chance to step onto the gridiron. "I played MLB and OG, started both ways and fell in love with it," he shared, highlighting his instant connection with the game.

Collaborating with a team of mentors and trainers, Greene diligently hones his skills, striving for excellence both as a linebacker and tight end. "I work with LB trainer Coach Mike Carpenter, Coach Jevon Hooker for my TE/OL, Coach Junie Bumbrey for WR/TE, and my stepdad Anthony Wallace for my speed training," Greene explained, underscoring his commitment to constant improvement.

With the recruiting process gaining momentum, Greene remains focused on his goals while exploring opportunities with top-tier collegiate programs. "UVA and JMU have had invited attend their Junior Days," Greene disclosed, expressing enthusiasm about potential prospects. Reflecting on his interactions with coaches, he highlighted the academic and athletic standards set by institutions like UVA and JMU, emphasizing their holistic approach to player development.

Amidst rigorous training schedules and recruitment endeavors, Greene maintains a balanced lifestyle, indulging in hobbies and downtime. "I am a regular 15 year old," he chuckled, revealing his love for music, video games, and spending time with loved ones. "I listen to a lot of Drake," he confessed, echoing the sentiments of many teenagers eagerly awaiting the next college football season.

As Greene prepares for the upcoming football season, his unwavering dedication and multifaceted talents continue to set him apart, both on and off the field. With a promising future ahead, he remains steadfast in his pursuit of excellence, embodying the spirit of a true athlete and scholar.
