Guided by his father, Turnbull's passion for the game only grew stronger with time. "My dad has done this before, he’s kind of like my GPS, he’s always there guiding me, and coaching me up from day one," he explained.

Apart from his high school coaches, Turnbull's primary collaborator in honing his skills is his father. "My dad does most of my training with me," Turnbull revealed. "At times he will put some of his former teammates on the phone to give me some tips."

While Turnbull excels in football, he also possesses talent in other sports like track and basketball. However, he has chosen to focus on football, recognizing his future lies on the gridiron.

Turnbull's recruiting journey began early in his 8th-grade year, with numerous prestigious schools extending offers to him. "All of them have caught my attention," Turnbull stated regarding the offers from schools like Michigan, USC, and Miami. "I won’t put out a top 5, I’m just excited to continue building relationships and getting to know each program."

As he prepares for the upcoming football season, Turnbull is committed to his training regimen. "We have a great strength and speed program at school," he noted. "So, I am doing that 5 times a day, and afterward, I get some extra position work in with teammates."
