Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - Westinghouse High School's football sensation, Kyshawn Robinson, is a name you'll want to remember. At just 5'10" and 165lbs, this 4-Star ATH (athlete) is making big strides both on and off the field. In an exclusive interview, Robinson opened up about his journey, recruitment process, and what makes him stand out beyond the game.

Robinson's passion for football ignited at the tender age of 6, driven by a unique source of motivation. "I was a troublemaker as a kid, and my punishments were different workouts," he revealed. "I began watching Steelers games with my grandma and grandpa. I loved watching James Harrison hit people, so the first chance I got to play football, I took it."

Beyond the high school gridiron, Robinson actively collaborates with Fast Houston, a 7on7 team spearheaded by Ro Simon. "I play 7on7 for a team called Fast Houston and also run track," he shared, shedding light on his dedication to honing his skills beyond traditional avenues.

With a staggering list of offers from powerhouse institutions like Nebraska, Texas A&M, and Penn State, Robinson's recruitment journey is nothing short of impressive. Reflecting on his offers, he highlighted his admiration for programs like Miami, Texas A&M, and Penn State for their top-notch facilities. However, it was his conversation with Michigan's coach Alfred that left a lasting impression. "I loved Michigan, especially with the convo I had with Coach Alfred about life things. He barely brought up football," Robinson noted, hinting at a deeper connection beyond the gridiron.

As he gears up for the upcoming season, Robinson leaves no stone unturned in his preparation. "I've been on protein and training 4-5 times a week. I've been playing 7on7 to work my craft and doing lots of speed training," he shared, showcasing his commitment to peak performance.

Beyond his athletic prowess, Robinson's leadership qualities shine through. "One of the main things that make me unique is that I'm a natural leader," he emphasized. Outside of football, he finds solace in the music of Rod Wave and enjoys diving into Madden sessions.

With his eyes set on a promising future, both on and off the field, Kyshawn Robinson is a force to be reckoned with. Keep an eye out for this rising star as he continues to make waves in the world of football and beyond.
