I used to just play baseball, and then my friends told me to try football, and I fell in love with it at that point." It's clear that his passion for the sport ignited at an early age, propelling him to excel in his athletic pursuits.

Ryan attributes his development as a football player to several significant mentors. He said, "I couldn’t possibly give enough credit to everyone, but starting out, Frank Tumminia was my 6-8 grade coach, and then Heather Barr, along with Velocity Blocking Academy, played a major role in helping me develop my blocking game. And finally, all my high school coaches, specifically Coach Edwards, Coach Stromie, Coach Jackson, and Coach Reaves, have been instrumental in my growth as a player."

With an impressive 39 offers from various colleges, the recruiting process has been a fruitful one for Ryan. He shared, "My process started a little earlier than most, as I received my first offer from Louisville at the end of my freshman year. I'm grateful for every offer because they believe in me. While Ryan hasn't set a specific commitment date, he expressed that he's looking to make a decision around March or February, indicating his dedication to finding the right fit for his future.

Beyond the football field, Ryan finds time for his other passions and hobbies. "I have a few hobbies, including golf, fishing, and training. Those are my main things I do outside of sports," he revealed, showcasing his well-rounded interests and commitment to maintaining a balanced lifestyle.

When it comes to role models and inspirations, Ryan looks up to his father. He spoke fondly about him, saying, "My role model would have to easily be my father. He has made me the man I am today. He pushes me to be the best I can be always, and he has taught me that hard work gets you where you want to be. He loves me with everything he has, and I can't thank him enough."

With a passion for football, academic excellence, and a strong support system, Ryan Ghea is undoubtedly a young talent destined for greatness both on and off the field.
