Duncanville High School in Duncanville, Texas, is home to an impressive talent on the football field. Meet Javion "Jholly" Holiday, a 4-star cornerback in the class of 2025. Standing tall at 6'1" and weighing in at 183 pounds, Holiday has been turning heads with his exceptional skills and dedication to the game.

Holiday's journey in football began at the tender age of four when he witnessed his older brother playing. Inspired by the game, he found himself drawn to the sport and has been involved ever since. "I was always around the game," Holiday recalls, showcasing his deep-rooted passion for football.

As one would expect from a player of his caliber, the recruiting process for Holiday is well underway. Currently, he holds an impressive list of 11 offers from renowned colleges across the nation. Some notable institutions that have shown interest in his talents include Arizona State, North Texas, SMU, UT, LSU, UCONN, Texas Tech, Washington State, Texas Southern, University of Oregon, and Texas State. However, Holiday has not yet committed to any school and has not set a timeline for his decision. His recruitment remains open, keeping fans and coaches alike eagerly waiting for his verdict.

When evaluating potential schools, Holiday pays attention to several key factors that play a crucial role in his decision-making process. A depth chart with opportunities for playing time, an engineering program to fuel his academic interests, and a high percentage of student-athlete graduates are some of the aspects that stand out to him. Holiday knows the importance of finding the right balance between academics and athletics to ensure a successful college career.

While football is his current focus, Holiday looks beyond the game and envisions a life after football. He has aspirations in real estate and mechanical engineering, displaying a determination to explore various career paths and interests. With a clear vision for his future, Holiday demonstrates that he possesses the drive and ambition to excel both on and off the field.
