Carlsbad, CA - In the realm of high school football, the name Julian Sayin has become synonymous with excellence. The 6'1", 180-pound quarterback from Carlsbad High School has been committed to the University of Alabama since November of 2022, solidifying his path towards gridiron greatness. Sayin's remarkable journey in football, filled with inspiration and dedication, has brought him to this pivotal moment in his career.

"I first started playing football when I was around 5 years old. My brother started playing QB and I followed in his footsteps," says Sayin, reflecting on his early days in the sport. It was his brother who served as a catalyst, igniting a fire within young Julian and setting him on the path to football stardom. The influence of his brother has been immeasurable, shaping Sayin's character and honing his skills on the field.

"My brother is the most influential person in my football journey. He has truly pushed me to be a better player and taught me so many lessons. I competed against him every day for years, and it made me a better person as well as a player," affirms Sayin, acknowledging the impact his sibling has had on his growth.

As Sayin's talent flourished, so did his recruiting journey. His rise to prominence began with an offer from Florida Atlantic when he was in the 8th grade. From there, his prowess on the field garnered attention, and offers poured in. "My recruitment blew up after my freshman season, and I had over 2 dozen offers," shares Sayin, recounting the rapid acceleration of his recruiting process.

In the end, it all came down to a nail-biting decision between Alabama and LSU. Sayin chose Alabama, drawn to the program's consistency, winning tradition, and the opportunity to be coached by the legendary Nick Saban. "I committed to Alabama because of the consistency, the winning tradition, path to the NFL, and being able to be coached by Coach Saban," explains Sayin, expressing his excitement to join the Crimson Tide.

With his college commitment settled, Sayin now sets his sights on his final high school football season. As he prepares for the challenges ahead, he has set both team and personal aspirations. "We want to win the Open Division in the San Diego Section. We also want to win a State Title," proclaims Sayin, emphasizing his desire for team success. As for personal goals, Sayin's focus lies in fostering unity and camaraderie with his teammates, understanding the significance of collective achievement.

Looking beyond the football field, Sayin's aspirations for life after his playing days come to an end are yet to be fully formed. "For my days after football, I'm not sure yet. I have not thought that far ahead, but probably something to do with sports as it is truly my passion," ponders Sayin, contemplating the possibilities that lie ahead.

As Julian Sayin prepares to embark on his collegiate journey at the University of Alabama, he carries with him a wealth of experience and a burning passion for the sport that has shaped his life. With each throw, each victory, and each lesson learned, this 5-star quarterback is ready to leave an indelible mark on the football world, forever etching his name in the annals of the game.
