Elijah Moore, a talented 4-star wide receiver from Good Counsel High School in PG County, Maryland, is quickly making a name for himself in the world of high school football. Standing at an impressive 6'4" and weighing 195 lbs, Moore possesses the physical attributes that have caught the attention of numerous college programs across the nation.

Moore's journey in high school football began during the challenging times of the Covid pandemic, where he focused on training and preparing himself for the upcoming season. Even before stepping foot on the field as a freshman, he received his first offer from West Virginia University. From there, his career took off, as he earned starting positions on the varsity team in his freshman year and went on to receive five more offers from Power 5 programs including Florida State, Pitt, Maryland, Ole Miss, and Boston College.

Reflecting on his high school football career, Moore cherishes some remarkable moments and achievements. As a sophomore, he made second-team all-conference, and in his junior year, he secured first-team all-conference honors. Additionally, one of the standout memories for Moore was traveling to Louisiana to face the number one team in the state and emerging victorious, showcasing his skills on a bigger stage.

When it comes to describing his playing style, Moore embodies a big and physical receiver with exceptional hands, quick feet, and precise route-running abilities. He also excels in making plays after the catch, utilizing his athleticism and agility.

Throughout the recruitment process, Moore has garnered interest from several esteemed colleges, including Ohio State, Michigan, Maryland, Florida State, Miami, Florida, Wisconsin, Texas A&M, and more. However, what matters most to Moore is finding a college where he can thrive both athletically and academically, ensuring he is wanted and valued while receiving a quality education.

Navigating the recruitment process has been a learning experience for Moore, who has embraced the excitement while also recognizing the demands and attention to detail it requires.

Maintaining a balance between academics and athletics has been a significant challenge for Moore, but he understands the importance of being a student-athlete. College programs not only seek exceptional athletes but also individuals who excel in the classroom.

Moore credits numerous coaches, mentors, and teammates for his development as a football player. From his little league coach to receive a trainer, he has received guidance and support from a variety of sources.

Overcoming challenges has been a defining aspect of Moore's football career. The impact of the Covid pandemic and a surgery after his freshman year tested his resilience and determination, but he has managed to rise above those obstacles.

Approaching his final year of high school football, Moore sets his goals high. He aims to reach his full potential, be the best version of himself, and prove to the world that he exceeds the expectations placed upon him.

Beyond football, Moore aspires to establish his own business someday, making his family proud and creating a happy and fulfilling life for himself.
