"When I got to West V on my OV," Byerson remarked, "I just had the homey feel like I will become a better person and player. The weight room is definitely one of my favorite parts of the campus." It is clear that the university's program and environment resonated with Byerson, providing him with the sense of belonging and growth he seeks as he embarks on his collegiate football journey.

Recognizing the importance of maintaining a balance between academics and athletics, Byerson expressed his confidence in West Virginia University's academic support system. "We have a very great academic team to help us stay focused and on track with our work," he noted.
