Boyd's passion for football ignited at a young age of six, as he revealed, "My dad really inspired me to play." Since then, he has honed his talents, catching the attention of numerous Division 1 colleges. Currently, the recruiting process has been fruitful for him, boasting an impressive 12 D1 offers. However, Boyd has already made a verbal commitment to Georgia Tech, where he plans to continue his academic and athletic pursuits.
During the decision-making process, Boyd took into account crucial factors that resonated with his goals and values. "Well first and foremost, I look for a great engineering program, as that is what I would like to go to college for," he explained. His ambition to pursue a career in Civil Engineering and Architecture played a significant role in selecting the right institution for him. Additionally, the coaching staff and team's operation, along with the location and surrounding environment, also held importance in his considerations.
Beyond the football field, Boyd's aspirations shine bright, with a clear vision for his life after the game. "After football, I will start a career in Civil Engineering as well as Architecture," he said.
