2027 WR/DB Major Mcbath: Bartow HS (FL)

Bartow High School’s Major McBath, a 5’11”, 170-pound wide receiver and defensive back, made his presence felt this season, helping lead his team to the playoffs while making personal strides on the field.

“Our team qualified for the playoffs and had a good season,” McBath said. “I feel my performance as a player contributed to this. I made my first high school touchdown this season and had many great catches. I pride myself on being a team player because I know one person won’t win the game.”

While McBath achieved one of his goals by scoring his first touchdown, he acknowledged there’s room for growth. “I set a goal to achieve a certain number of catches and experience the feel of the end zone. I fell short in targets, BUT I did get in the end zone, and that feeling alone—I was proud of myself because I CONQUERED!”

The off-season is an opportunity McBath plans to seize. “In the off-season, I WORK! My motivation is the goals I fell short of. I’ll make sure my stats and film reflect my abilities. I’m focusing on learning my playbook, perfecting my craft as a receiver, and keeping my GPA a priority. STRONGER, FASTER, GREATER will always be goals!”

Beyond football, McBath’s personality shines through. “I love being around my family; they keep me grounded. I also like playing cards and doing card tricks—family games are right up my alley,” he shared. A surprising fact? “I’m an animal lover, but reptiles are the best. I have a pet snake named Robert.”

With his determination and passion, McBath is poised for a bright future on and off the field.
