2026 WR Mason Jordan: Cardinal Mooney HS (FL)
Cardinal Mooney High School’s Mason Jordan has established himself as a dynamic wide receiver and special teams weapon, playing a pivotal role in his team’s success. At 5’10” and 165 pounds, the 2026 prospect brings a gritty, high-energy style to the game.
“I think of myself as electric on the football field,” Jordan said. “I hold myself to a high standard every season, and I’m proud to be a major part of such a high-level program.”
This season, Jordan contributed in every phase of the game, excelling as a rushing and pass-catching threat, returning kicks, blocking three punts, and even serving as a place-holder. His versatility and relentless work ethic helped the Cougars reach the state semifinals, where they fell just short of defending their 2023 title.
“While that loss will always sting, I’m so proud of what we accomplished,” he shared. “My goal was to be the best version of myself, and I took great strides toward that. But I know I have more progress to make.”
Jordan is already focused on the offseason, aiming to sharpen his skills and improve his physicality. “The state title isn’t ‘some day’ in December,” he said. “For me, it’s every day until that kickoff.” He plans to continue honing his hands, perfecting his ability to get off the press, and building strength while also competing in track, where he’s a record-breaking sprinter.
Off the field, Jordan’s talents extend beyond sports. A passionate writer, he contributes to his school newspaper and alumni newsletter and has even had his work published in a book. “It’s something I truly enjoy,” he said.
With his senior year on the horizon, Mason Jordan is determined to elevate his game and lead Cardinal Mooney to another title. For now, though, he’s sticking with comedies over horror movies and rewatching Friends. “It’s the greatest show of all time,” he joked. “There’s no debate.”
