2026 OL DaeShaun Floyd: Fairmont Senior HS (WV)

Fairmont, WV – One of the biggest names emerging from the 2026 class in West Virginia is Fairmont Senior High School’s towering offensive lineman, DaeShaun Floyd. At 6’4” and 325 pounds, Floyd made a dominant impression during a recent showing at the Spotlight 39 Pro Day Camp.

“It went very smooth and well,” Floyd said about the event. “I loved the high energy and the coaching, and there were good kids there to compete against.”

Floyd turned heads during the one-on-one sessions, where he consistently showcased his strength, technique, and footwork. “The 1-on-1’s with the high energy, tons of reps—where I ended up top two O-lineman—that was the biggest standout moment for me,” he said.

As he gears up for his junior season, Floyd is locked in on the grind. “Working out and staying in the gym while going to more camps and working with more elite coaches,” he said about his offseason focus.

He’s also set to stay busy on the recruiting trail with several visits in the works. “I’ve got visits planned to VMI University, Morehead State, Waynesburg, and West Liberty,” Floyd shared. “I also have multiple camps including a Rivals camp.”

With his combination of size, work ethic, and drive, Floyd is setting the bar high for himself and his team in 2025. “My goals are to make it to the state championship and get Offensive Lineman of the Year,” he said.

With momentum building and college interest heating up, DaeShaun Floyd is a name to watch in the trenches this fall.
