2026 3-Star OT Brady Sakowitz: Trinity Episcopal School (VA)

Richmond, VA - At 6'7" and 315 pounds, Brady Sakowitz, the 3-star offensive tackle from Trinity Episcopal School, is not only a towering figure on the field but also a rising talent in the world of high school football. In an exclusive interview, Sakowitz shared insights into his journey, training regimen, and recruitment process.

Sakowitz's passion for football ignited at the age of 9, thanks to the persuasive words of his current coach, Coach Wali Rainer. Reflecting on his early days in the sport, Sakowitz recalled, "Coach Rainer came up to me and said I should play football and talked to me and my mom about it. Years later and he is now my coach."

Beyond the guidance of his high school mentors, Sakowitz actively seeks additional support to hone his skills. "Aside from my high school coaches, I regularly workout with Coach Dent from Highland Springs and I train with Hog Academy," he revealed, highlighting his dedication to continuous improvement.

The recruiting trail has been bustling for Sakowitz since his freshman season, with offers pouring in from notable institutions. "The recruiting process really started shortly after my freshman season when I got my first offer from Marshall," he explained. "In total, I have offers from Marshall, Virginia Tech, Miami, Maryland, West Virginia, ECU, Charlotte, Duke, Pitt, Appalachian State, ODU, and NC State."

Despite the array of options, Sakowitz remains focused on the upcoming season, with plans to commit after the next campaign. "I have not yet narrowed down my current options, but I plan on committing in the summer after next season," he affirmed, showcasing his commitment to both academics and athletics.

As he gears up for the challenges ahead, Sakowitz has been diligently preparing during the off-season. "To prepare for next season, I have been lifting weights 4-5 times per week as well as working out with O-line trainers 3 times per week," he detailed, highlighting his rigorous training routine.

Beyond the gridiron, Sakowitz cherishes moments spent with family and indulges in his passion for music. "Outside of football, I like to spend time with my family," he shared. "I like listening to rap music, and some artists I like are Drake, Rod Wave, and Travis Scott."
