2025 WR/TE Marshall Pritchett: Rabun Gap HS (GA)

Rabun Gap High School in Georgia has a rising star in their midst - 6'5, 215-pound Marshall Pritchett, a talented Flex WR/TE with a promising future. In an exclusive interview, Pritchett shared insights into his journey and the people who have shaped him as both a player and an individual.

Pritchett's passion for football runs deep in his veins, as he revealed, "I first played in 2nd grade because my father played at Notre Dame and in the NFL, so I was born into a football family. After my one season in 2nd grade, my mother didn't allow me to play again until 6th grade, and since then, I've played every year."

Throughout his football journey, Pritchett has been fortunate to have incredible mentors guiding him. "All my coaches have helped me along the way, but my current Coach, Coach Derek White, changed my life with all he's done," Pritchett said gratefully. Additionally, he has honed his skills under the training of Can't Stop Training and Davon Gilliard for about a decade, leading to significant improvements in his overall athleticism and strength. Furthermore, Devin Brown and Jordan McDaniels have played a crucial role in enhancing his receiver-specific training, and he looks forward to continuing to work with them.

As for his recruitment journey, Pritchett couldn't be more thankful for the opportunities that have come his way. "My recruitment first began last summer going into my sophomore year, and throughout the season, it continued to heat up," he shared. "In the summer, it really started taking off, and I'm excited to get more offers throughout my junior year."

Beyond football, Pritchett is a multi-talented individual. "I'm an all-state bowler, and my personal best is 245. I enjoy bowling a ton and play a lot of golf," he said. Not just limited to football, Pritchett has excelled in lacrosse, becoming a two-time All-American and three-time All-State player. Not to mention, he took initiative by starting an AAU basketball organization and showcased his skills on the court, averaging 12 points per game during his two seasons with the team.

Balancing his dedication to the game with his personal life has been seamless for Pritchett. "My personal life is different from a typical high school student because I go to boarding school, so 90% of the year, I eat, sleep, and breathe football," he explained. "While I'm home for breaks in Charleston, I do try to enjoy life, whether it's bowling, playing golf, or hanging out with friends. I've been doing it for so long that I've gotten great at finding that balance."

Throughout his journey, Pritchett has found inspiration in some remarkable figures. "Julio Jones got me into football, and I looked up to him forever," he said. "But I look up to Travis Kelce as a player; I model my game around him. Outside of football, I also look up to Travis Kelce because of all he went through, and he still prevailed; I find it very inspiring."

As Marshall Pritchett continues to make waves in high school football, his dedication, talent, and the support of his coaches and mentors will undoubtedly pave the way for an exciting future in the sport he loves. With his 3.6 GPA and an impressive list of accomplishments, Pritchett is proving to be a well-rounded athlete who is ready to take on the challenges that lie ahead.
