2025 ATH Therman Deon Moore: Center Point HS (AL)

Center Point High School in Alabama is currently abuzz with excitement, all thanks to the remarkable talents of Therman Deon Moore. Standing tall at 6 feet and weighing 170 pounds, Moore has become a force to be reckoned with both on the football field and in the classroom, boasting an impeccable 4.0 GPA. With a future that looks incredibly promising, Moore is making his mark through his skills and determination.

Moore's journey in football began at an incredibly young age. "I first started playing football when I was 3 years old when my dad put me on a little league team. As I grew older, I started to understand the game more and started to love it and wanted to do it as a professional since I was 8," Moore recalls. This early passion has ignited a fire within him that continues to drive his exceptional performance.

The path to success is often paved with the guidance of mentors and coaches. Moore's journey is no different. "I had a lot of coaches and trainers help me on the way here," he shares. He expresses his gratitude to Coach Curt, Coach Mark, and Coach Tonio, his little league coaches, for spotting his potential from the outset. He also extends his appreciation to T-West, his trainer, and Coach Breed for their significant roles in his progress. Lastly, Coach Baron's counsel has been a cornerstone in Moore's development.

The recruitment journey for Moore is off to a promising start. "The recruitment process has been well for me so far," he states. Notably, he has already secured offers from UAB, Alabama State, and Lafayette, showcasing his potential for a bright future in the sport.

Beyond the realm of football, Moore's interests are both varied and intriguing. "Something I want to do outside of football is to major in Architecture," he reveals. His passion for design and creativity finds its match in this field. During his leisure time, he enjoys reading books and listening to music, finding solace and inspiration in these personal activities. Moore understands the delicate balance between his personal life and his dedication to the sport. "First things that come first is football, so everything else comes after that. I want to reach my goals so everything can wait until I reach them."

The individuals who have influenced Moore's journey hold a special place in his heart. "My main role model has to be my dad," he confides. His father's lessons have shaped him into a man of character, both on and off the field. Additionally, his cousin Kyriq McDonald has been a guiding light, demonstrating the path to success through hard work and dedication. Moore also holds his high school coaches, Coach Bates and Coach Wright, in high esteem for their unwavering belief in him and their role in his leadership development.
